Evaluating Your System
Analysis, Assessments, Audits, & Reviews
Expert-level assistance for evaluating your management system.
Every organization is different in how it measures quality management success, and QSI is here to help you navigate the levels of work that go into it.
Analysis
- Analyzing data to determine whether you’ve met your management system objectives (practical targets) and metrics (how you measure the success of hitting your target).
- Comparing your existing management system documentation to the requirements of a goal (e.g., a management system standard such as ISO 9001 or API Spec Q1 10th Edition) as a gap analysis to identify where you’re falling short and an implementation plan and timeline to resolution.
Readiness Review
- Evaluating against an implementation plan prior to performing an internal audit or management review.
Assessment
- Conducting a preparatory evaluation of whether you’ve met your management system requirements after an internal audit and management review has been performed.
- A technical evaluation of product and/or process criteria (e.g., welding against ASME Section IX, AWS D1.1 or other code).
Internal Audit
Performing an audit of your management system against specified audit criteria prior to the performance of a management review, such as:
- Management system criteria (e.g., ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, Q1, Q2, AS9100) as a singular or integrated management system
- Inclusion of a technical assessment against specific codes and/or standards for products/processes
- Inclusion of a licensing schedule such as the Product Specifications under an API Product Specification
