API Spec Q1, 10th Edition Transition
Explore how to navigate the changes, avoid potential risks, and understand how to convert the new “product”-focused requirements into your quality management system
Overview
As part of our commitment to the industries we serve, QSI is offering a complimentary class, “Ethics Training for the Oil and Gas Industry,” in response to the release of the 10th Edition of the American Petroleum Institute’s (API) Spec Q1 and the API’s Advisory #7, Code of Conduct for API Monogram Licensees, APIQR Certified Organizations and Program Applicants.
This latest edition of Q1 incorporates ISO 9001:2015 language regarding interested parties and their requirements for an organization’s quality management system. Additionally, the 10th Edition includes clauses that address the term “legal” and its definition, encompassing statutory and regulatory aspects.
It is QSI’s opinion that organizations must recognize that the API is an interested party and imposes “legal” obligations. These obligations encompass various subjects, including ethics training, statutory and regulatory requirements, and API Advisories. Surprisingly, many API-licensed or registered organizations may be unaware of these requirements. We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity and participate in our free course.
Course Format
This is an online, self-paced course.
